Montblanc in New York seeks a temporary Merchandiser to support visual merchandising, inventory control and store presentation across the NYC retail network.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards across assigned New York stores, including window displays, in-store vignettes and product fixtures.
  • Implement planograms and seasonal floor sets to optimise product placement and maximise sales conversion.
  • Manage inventory tasks at store level: replenishment, stock rotations, transfers and stock audits to ensure merchandising integrity.
  • Coordinate with store managers, regional retail leadership and supply chain to schedule installations, manage stock flow and support promotional rollouts.
  • Monitor sales performance and stock KPIs to inform assortment and display adjustments; prepare concise merchandising reports.
  • Ensure brand presentation and client-facing environments comply with Montblanc guidelines, including signage, pricing and packaging.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of merchandising or visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or premium specialty stores.
  • Proven ability to interpret and implement planograms and brand visual directives with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple stores or projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel between Manhattan stores as required.
  • Physical ability to lift and install display elements and to perform on-floor merchandising tasks.

Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on retail merchandising or visual merchandising experience, preferably within a luxury goods environment. Experience executing seasonal floor sets and working with store teams to maintain brand standards is expected.

Education

High school diploma required; coursework or degree in merchandising, retail management, visual display, or a related field preferred.
