Montblanc in Hamburg seeks a Merchandiser — Europe to lead assortment planning, forecasting and commercial strategy across European markets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the European assortment strategy and seasonal range architecture in alignment with global brand positioning and commercial targets.
  • Develop OTB (open-to-buy), forecasting and replenishment plans to optimise sell-through, margin and inventory levels across channels and key markets.
  • Translate sell-in and sell-through analytics into actionable range, price and promotional decisions; produce regular KPI and performance reporting for regional leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product development, supply chain and retail operations to ensure timely range launches, allocation and product lifecycle management.
  • Own commercial negotiations and allocation with regional distribution partners, wholesale accounts and internal sales teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Localise global collections and merchandising directives to reflect European market dynamics and customer preferences.
  • Support visual merchandising and retail teams with range presentation, floor sets and point-of-sale recommendations to drive conversion.

Qualifications

  • Proven commercial acumen with strong numerical aptitude and experience using sell-through, margin and inventory metrics to inform decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, able to influence designers, planners and sales teams.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple ranges and launch calendars under tight timelines.

Experience
