Role & Responsibilities
- Support assortment planning processes at bi-yearly Milan Showrooms and assist in the buying process for the European franchise and wholesale network across all Montblanc categories
- Perform detailed category analysis and assortment evaluation using advanced reporting tools including Excel, Power BI, and Looker to inform strategic planning
- Present European merchandising strategy to market partners and wholesale stakeholders; provide strategic consultation to managing directors, sales directors, and outlet boutique managers
- Plan and execute regional projects independently to drive business growth, coordinating with Retail, Visual Merchandising, Training, Clienteling, and Marketing departments
- Monitor assortment health and stock levels in SAP; manage model stock settings and serve as gatekeeper for manual orders to maintain optimal inventory
- Collaborate closely with Visual Merchandising teams to align in-store presentation with buying strategy, stock availability, and merchandise priorities
Qualifications
- University degree with focus on business, merchandising, or supply chain management
- 3–5 years of professional merchandising experience in luxury goods, fashion, or leather industries
- Proven ability to connect product strategy with quantitative business analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in detail-oriented, structured, and process-driven work
- Strong cross-functional communication and teamwork capabilities
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in data warehouse systems and planning tools; advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Looker
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
