Montblanc hiring Merchandiser Europe in Hamburg. Support strategic assortment planning across 50 European boutiques using SAP, Power BI, and Looker—full-time role starting April 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support European merchandising and assortment planning process at bi-yearly Milan Showrooms and assist in buying for all six European subsidiaries and 50 full-price boutiques
- Perform assortment analysis by category utilizing Excel, Power BI, and Looker reporting tools to inform strategic planning
- Present European merchandising strategy to markets and boutiques, serving as strategic advisor to managing directors, retail directors, and boutique managers
- Independently plan and execute regional initiatives to drive business growth in collaboration with retail, visual merchandising, training, clienteling, and marketing teams
- Monitor assortment performance, stock levels, and model stocks; amend and monitor model stock settings in SAP and act as gatekeeper for manual orders
- Collaborate closely with visual merchandising teams to ensure optimal execution of merchandising priorities and align in-store presentation with buying process and stock positioning
Qualifications
- University degree in business, merchandising, supply chain, or related discipline
- 3–5 years of professional merchandising experience in luxury goods, fashion, or leather industry
- Proven ability to connect product strategy with quantitative business analysis
- Detail-oriented, structured, and process-oriented work methodology
- Strong cross-functional communication and team collaboration skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with data warehouse systems and planning tools
- Advanced skills in MS Office, including Power BI and Looker
- Fluency in English; additional language skills advantageous

3–5 years of professional experience as a merchandiser in luxury goods, fashion, or leather industry, with demonstrated expertise in assortment planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Education
