Montblanc is hiring a Materials Purchaser in Scandicci, Italy. Full-time permanent role managing metal component procurement with SAP expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Negotiate pricing and identify new suppliers to optimize procurement spend and supply chain resilience
- Create, monitor, and manage purchase orders for metal parts using SAP, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and production requirements
- Maintain and update master data within the ERP system (SAP) for accurate cost tracking, supplier management, and material flow documentation
- Conduct periodic site visits to suppliers to align on production priorities and communicate delivery forecasts
- Prepare reports and conduct analytical reviews of procurement performance, cost savings initiatives, and supplier KPIs
- Monitor inventory levels against established targets and manage quality non-conformities to maintain production continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Economics
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze team KPIs and procurement metrics

Experience
Proven professional experience in a purchasing or procurement office environment, with demonstrated expertise in supplier management and procurement operations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Economics.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 35,000 to EUR 45,000 per annum.
