Montblanc seeks a Manager Global Strategy & Projects (Digital & Client) in Hamburg, Germany. Lead ecommerce and omnichannel strategy across global teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Scope, plan, and drive global strategic initiatives across cross-functional teams using agile and traditional project management methodologies, ensuring delivery within ambitious timelines
- Establish robust project structures, define workstreams, manage deliverables, and monitor progress across all digital and client-facing initiatives
- Develop comprehensive business cases and strategic rationales to evaluate project feasibility and alignment with global business objectives
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and anticipate emerging digital trends and shifting client behavior
- Oversee and consolidate global ecommerce management reporting, working closely with regional teams to track online sales targets, identify performance trends, and drive commercial responses
- Translate complex data points from various business streams into cohesive, high-impact updates that demonstrate commercial progress
- Provide direct strategic and analytical support to the Chief Client & Digital Officer and departmental leadership team
- Structure, build, and deliver compelling, executive-ready presentations for steering committees, board meetings, and senior leadership reviews
Qualifications
- University degree from a leading business school or university
- 4+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting and/or project-driven commercial/ecommerce functions
- Good understanding of ecommerce-specific tools and technologies
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional global projects
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a passion for structuring ambiguous challenges
- Outstanding people and relationship-building skills; proven ability to interact confidently across multiple organizational levels and cultures
- High flexibility with capacity to deliver quality execution while maintaining broad strategic perspective
Skills
Experience
4+ years of professional experience in strategy consulting and/or project-driven commercial or ecommerce functions. Experience in the fashion, apparel retail, luxury, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
Education
University degree from a leading business school or university.
