Montblanc seeks a Key Holder in New York to support store operations, client service and opening/closing duties.
Role & Responsibilities
- Open and close the boutique, assume responsibility for store security and cash procedures during shifts.
- Support the Store Manager by supervising sales staff, allocating duties and ensuring high-performance standards.
- Drive sales through proactive clienteling, personalised service and follow-up to cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Execute daily cash handling, POS transactions and end-of-day reconciliation in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain visual merchandising, product presentation and housekeeping to uphold Montblanc brand standards.
- Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving deliveries and periodic stock counts.
- Identify and act on loss-prevention risks; escalate incidents and discrepancies to management promptly.
- Coach and mentor sales advisors on product knowledge, selling techniques and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience with at least two years in sales; prior supervisory or key-holder experience preferred.
- Demonstrable track record in meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional client service in a luxury environment.
- Strong numeracy and reliable cash-handling skills; experience using POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to coach peers and maintain professional client interactions.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods; ability to travel locally as required.

Minimum of two years’ retail sales experience, ideally within luxury goods; prior experience in an opening/closing or supervisory capacity is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary qualification in retail, business or hospitality preferred.
