Montblanc is hiring a Key Holder in Chicago — lead the sales floor, open/close the boutique and deliver refined client service in a luxury retail setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Open and close the boutique, managing store security, safe and key protocols.
- Provide exemplary, personalised client service and clienteling to cultivate long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Support the store manager in daily retail operations, including staff supervision, task allocation and shift coordination.
- Drive sales through product knowledge, upselling and cross-selling across Montblanc categories.
- Execute visual merchandising and maintain brand presentation standards on the sales floor and windows.
- Handle cash reconciliation, POS transactions and end-of-day reporting with accuracy.
- Monitor inventory, assist with stockroom organisation and participate in stock counts and loss-prevention procedures.
- Coach and mentor sales colleagues on product knowledge, selling techniques and client service etiquette.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in luxury or premium retail; experience with accessories or leather goods preferred.
- Proven ability to provide high-calibre client service and to build long-term client relationships.
- Demonstrable experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills; capacity to lead shifts in the absence of the store manager.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays.

1–2 years of frontline retail experience in a luxury or premium environment, with demonstrated sales results and some supervisory or shift-lead responsibility preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; some college or retail-related certification preferred.
