Montblanc in Seoul seeks an E‑Commerce Manager (1‑year contract) to lead local online sales, merchandising and digital operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all local e‑commerce activities to grow online revenue and market share for the Seoul market during the contract period.
- Develop and execute localized merchandising, pricing, promotion and campaign plans in alignment with global digital strategy.
- Own digital KPIs (GMV, conversion rate, AOV, traffic, retention) and produce regular performance reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate cross‑functional execution with marketing, CRM, retail operations, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless omnichannel experiences.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and platform vendors; oversee implementation of site updates, A/B tests and UX improvements.
- Maintain brand integrity online by ensuring product content, imagery and storytelling meet Montblanc standards.
- Operationally manage product catalogues, inventory synchronisation, order flows and local promotional execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, digital commerce or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven e‑commerce expertise within premium or luxury retail, with strong understanding of online luxury customer behaviour.
- Demonstrable record of delivering sales growth through site merchandising, digital campaigns and conversion optimisation.
- Ability to translate global digital strategy into effective local market execution while preserving brand standards.
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience using performance data to inform commercial decisions.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years in e‑commerce or digital retail roles, with at least several years in a managerial capacity; prior experience in luxury goods or high‑end retail strongly preferred. Proven history of executing localised digital campaigns and managing cross‑functional stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, digital commerce or equivalent professional experience.
