Montblanc is hiring a Boutique Manager in Paris to lead the Galeries Lafayette boutique — drive sales, operations and client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the Montblanc boutique located within Galeries Lafayette, ensuring impeccable brand presentation and adherence to Montblanc retail standards.
  • Own P&L accountability for the boutique: drive sales performance, manage budgets, and implement merchandising and promotional strategies to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; set individual and team objectives, conduct performance reviews and deliver ongoing training in clienteling and product knowledge.
  • Deliver a best-in-class client experience through proactive clienteling, bespoke service, and the development of long-term relationships with high-value customers.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, visual merchandising and store layout to optimize sell-through and minimise shrinkage.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs and reporting processes; analyse sales trends and translate insight into actionable plans.
  • Coordinate events, private viewings and in-store activations in partnership with Galeries Lafayette and regional marketing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, loss-prevention procedures and legal/regulatory requirements applicable to retail operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a store or boutique manager in luxury retail, with demonstrable experience delivering sustained sales growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, coaching and developing retail teams to achieve commercial and service objectives.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, inventory and KPIs in a high-volume, premium retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with high-net-worth clients and department-store partners.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills appropriate for a multicultural retail environment (specific language requirements to be confirmed by the employer).

Experience
