Montblanc seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Seoul to support daily boutique operations, team leadership, customer service and sales performance. The role is full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and store management guidelines.
- Handle staffing issues, plan shifts and rotas, and address customer issues and complaints to improve service and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate product and service features and lead demonstration specialists to maximize customer value.
- Guide teams in providing consistent product and service information in line with established messaging and positioning.
- Oversee front-end, back-end, and sales-floor operations in a small to medium-sized store, working toward sales performance goals.
- Lead teams in recording and processing customer orders and identify recurring customer issues to develop response strategies.
- Develop and approve short- or medium-term work schedules, manage overtime, and allocate additional resources as needed.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional products or services during customer interactions.
- Set objectives for sales calls or meetings, use standard presentation materials, and ask relevant questions to assess customer interest and provide information.
- Implement customer contact plans to communicate product launches and engage potential customers in sales campaigns, building new relationships.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, resolving issues or referring complex cases as appropriate.
- Recommend products or services that meet customer needs, explain selections, and invite purchases under standard terms.
- Participate in assessment and development planning, training, and coaching to enhance personal capabilities.
- Maintain professional accreditation and stay informed about relevant technology, regulations, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
- Monitor individual and team performance, allocate work, review completion, and take corrective action to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Contribute to formal performance management and appraisals.
