Montblanc Assistant Store Manager opportunity in Barcelona. Support store operations, lead teams, and enhance customer satisfaction in a luxury retail boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily boutique operations and ensuring adherence to company policies and store management guidelines
- Manage staffing issues, develop and approve shift schedules/rotas, manage overtime, and allocate resources to optimize store coverage
- Lead demonstration specialists and guide teams in consistently delivering product and service information aligned with established messaging and positioning
- Oversee front-end, back-end, and sales floor operations to achieve sales performance goals and service standards
- Coordinate customer order processing, aggregate common customer issues, and develop effective response strategies
- Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, resolving issues or escalating complex cases appropriately
- Recommend products and services to meet customer needs, explain selections, and facilitate purchases according to standard terms
- Implement customer contact plans to communicate product launches, engage potential customers in sales campaigns, and build new client relationships
- Identify opportunities to introduce complementary products and services during customer interactions
- Monitor personal and team performance, allocate work assignments, review task completion, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Participate in performance management, appraisals, formal and informal training, and coaching activities
- Maintain professional accreditation and stay current on relevant technology, regulations, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Short-cycle tertiary education (polytechnic diploma or equivalent)
- Proven supervisory and managerial experience directing people and resources toward specific results within defined timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to handle diverse situations and advise others effectively
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of luxury retail practices
- Excellent customer service orientation and complaint resolution skills
- Proficiency in shift planning, resource allocation, and operational organization
