Montblanc is seeking an Assistant Boutique Manager in Guadalajara, Mexico — lead boutique operations, drive sales and develop a luxury retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the boutique manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs through daily coaching, floor leadership and active selling.
- Lead and develop the boutique team: recruit, onboard, deliver performance reviews, and run ongoing product and service training.
- Deliver exceptional clienteling and after‑sales service, cultivating high‑value relationships and managing VIP client programmes.
- Oversee store operations including inventory control, stock reconciliation, receiving, visual merchandising standards and loss prevention.
- Plan and execute store events, product launches and trunk shows in coordination with regional marketing and wholesale teams.
- Create and submit accurate daily/weekly sales and operational reports; identify trends and propose actionable improvements.
- Manage staffing rotas, ensure compliance with local labour regulations and maintain a high standard of workplace health & safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs in a store environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience developing sales teams and driving service excellence.
- Sound commercial acumen, numeracy for sales reporting and familiarity with inventory control processes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; professional demeanour consistent with a luxury brand.

Typically 3+ years in retail, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity within a luxury or premium retail environment, with demonstrated success in team leadership and sales performance.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality or equivalent professional experience.
