Moncler seeks a Senior Knitwear Programmer for its knitwear team in Paese to develop Shima Seiki machine programs, support sampling and size development, and optimize technical solutions, quality and production efficiency. The role is governed by the CCNL Tessile, with a gross compensation package range of €50,000–€60,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement knitwear programs using Shima Seiki systems.
- Interpret drawings, technical sheets and product instructions, translating them into machine programs.
- Develop knit stitches, structures and processes, identifying the most effective technical solutions.
- Manage garment programming and machine setup throughout the various sampling stages.
- Contribute to size development.
- Optimize programs and processes, with particular attention to quality, technical feasibility and production efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to programming and garment production.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in similar roles in the knitwear sector.
- Strong experience programming Shima Seiki flat-knitting machines.
- Excellent knowledge of knitwear construction and manufacturing techniques.
- Experience in product development from sampling through industrialization.
- Good ability to interpret drawings and technical sheets.
- Strong sensitivity to product quality, detail and technical feasibility.
- Problem-solving ability, precision and results orientation.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of Stoll programming systems is a plus.
