Moncler is seeking a Retail Merchandising and Buying Intern for its EMEA Grenoble lines team in Paris, from November 2026 to April 2027. The six-month internship supports product strategy, business performance monitoring, stock optimization, buying sessions, and retail analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze selling trends, identify slow-moving items, and initiate actions to rebalance stock across the network, focusing on ski resort locations to optimize sell-through.
- Support new store openings, pop-up events, and trunk shows by preparing booklets, managing stock transfers, and providing visual merchandising support.
- Collect product feedback from stores, monitor business trends and competitor offerings, and identify opportunities to support the development of new-season collections.
- Support buying sessions through analysis, preparation of buying files, and order entry.
- Support the Retail Merchandising Manager with performance reports and sales analysis.
Qualifications
- Business or management school curriculum, with a first internship in an allocation or retail merchandising department.
- Autonomous, with an initiative-taking approach.
- Rigorous and analytical; advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Ability to prepare impactful presentations using PowerPoint.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Product sensitivity and a passion for luxury and retail.
