Moët Hennessy seeks a Sustainability Manager, UK & EMEA in London (temporary, hybrid) to lead carbon strategy, reporting and UK sustainability programmes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy and coordinate Moët Hennessy’s sustainability strategy across EMEA as a member of the EMEA Sustainability Core Team.
  • Lead the implementation of the sustainability roadmap for the UK market, including management of MHUK’s sustainability and wellbeing budget.
  • Design, monitor and report carbon initiatives: manage carbon footprint data collection, stewardship of carbon calculation tools, and development of decarbonisation trajectories.
  • Engage and manage suppliers across EMEA to reduce environmental footprint and collect supplier sustainability data for impact tracking.
  • Lead MHUK Sustainability Committee and oversee MHUK social impact programmes; design and deliver sustainability trainings to employees.
  • Collaborate with HR and business functions on DE&I, employee wellbeing and culture initiatives; support integration of sustainability across functions and markets.
  • Produce qualitative and quantitative analysis, KPI tracking and regular reporting; prepare materials and presentations for Champions meetings, Steering Committees and executive forums.
  • Curate industry benchmarks and best practices to elevate internal expertise and inspire country-level action plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ professional experience in sustainability, environmental management or a closely related discipline, ideally within wines & spirits, FMCG or retail.
  • Demonstrable expertise in sustainability reporting and KPI management, with experience translating data into actionable decarbonisation plans.
  • Strong knowledge across sustainability topics (environmental, social, consumption and brand-related risks/opportunities).
  • Excellent analytical skills with proven ability to manage complex data sets and carbon footprint calculations.
  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Proactive, action-oriented mindset with strong project-management capabilities and experience coordinating multi-country programmes.

Experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, business or a related field; a master’s degree or professional qualification in sustainability or carbon management is preferred.
