Supply Chain Operations Specialist at Moët Hennessy in Seoul, South Korea. 1-year contract role supporting logistics and inventory management within LVMH.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including shipment status verification and customs documentation preparation
- Coordinate with third-party logistics warehouses and customs agencies to facilitate timely shipment clearance
- Monitor duty and tax estimations and actuals on a weekly basis
- Update in-transit inventory upon receipt of shipping documentation from regional hubs
- Arrange outbound shipments with relevant parties, coordinating shipping documents and schedules
- Manage bonded warehouse storage periods for bills of lading and cargo
- Prepare daily stock availability reports for duty-paid and duty-free inventory
- Reconcile inventory records between SAP B1 enterprise resource planning system and warehouse management systems
- Report inventory incidents, including damage and discrepancies
- Create and manage new finished goods and point-of-sale material codes in ERP systems including SAP B1, eWorkflow, and PowerApps
- Generate local point-of-sale material purchase orders
- Execute inventory revaluation and adjustments in SAP B1
- Perform monthly inventory closing procedures, including ending balance reconciliation
- Prepare intercompany invoices and vendor payment vouchers
- Confirm transit status of in-transit stock with regional office
- Provide operational support for duty-free business shipping documentation
- Support supply chain management and team projects as requested
- Identify learning opportunities within supply chain and broader organizational functions
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of supply chain experience in complex, multicultural business environments
- Experience in liquor, food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in supply chain or customer service
- Fluent in Korean and English; proficiency in additional languages advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and research capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple relationships and tasks concurrently
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure
