State Manager (NSW/ACT) at Moët Hennessy, Sydney. Lead luxury wine and spirits sales across NSW and ACT for LVMH.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales volume and revenue targets within the territory and channel budgets
- Develop high-performing teams to Account Manager standard, including Salesforce planning and HR training oversight
- Drive contract accountability through Anaplan (KAP) tracking and manage customer performance through regular business reviews
- Spend regular time in the field supporting Account Managers with sales techniques and effectiveness coaching
- Execute luxury brand distribution strategy across Core, Prestige, and Emerging portfolio pillars
- Deliver On-Premise strategy and manage JBP execution with key State accounts
- Ensure Account Managers exceed six calls per day and drive fast KAP approvals
- Cultivate strong relationships with key wholesale partners through bi-monthly meetings and commercial development
- Ensure brand standards compliance across all channels, social platforms, and eRetail outlets
- Organize trade events and market activations across On-Premise, Specialist, and Wholesale segments
- Model and enforce compliance, integrity, and adherence to policies and the Grant of Authority (GOA)
- Participate in regular state sales meetings to share best practices and contribute to organizational development
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in sales management with an international FMCG or liquor company
- Deep knowledge of and demonstrable interest in the luxury sector
- Thorough understanding of FMCG and drinks industry dynamics
- Exceptional planning, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong numerical and statistical acumen
- Superior communication, networking, and interpersonal capabilities
- Motivated, supportive people management skills with proven team leadership
- WSET Level 2 certification (preferred)
