Solution & Delivery Manager at Moët Hennessy, Tokyo. Lead IT initiatives, manage enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce), and drive digital transformation in a hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as primary IT point of contact for assigned business domains, building trust-based relationships with local users, headquarters teams, regional IT, and external vendors
- Translate business requirements into structured IT deliverables and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives including requirements definition, planning, user acceptance testing coordination, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization
- Take ownership of complex or long-standing initiatives and drive them to successful completion despite unclear scope or ownership
- Act as liaison between local business teams and regional/global IT organizations to ensure governance compliance while addressing local needs
- Address legacy system issues impacting operations and proactively improve system stability and support effectiveness
- Own and support MH financial and supply chain systems in SAP ECC, including accounting, reporting, and related financial processes
- Support and enhance data platforms including Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Power Suite as target reporting and analytics platforms
- Manage and deliver solutions across digital and commercial systems including eCommerce platforms (Yahoo, Amazon), CRM platforms (Salesforce), B2B channels (VAN for EDI), and digital marketing platforms
- Lead initiatives to digitize the sales-to-order process in Japan, including systems and integrations spanning SAP, VAN for EDI, RPA, and AI-enabled solutions
- Drive adoption and delivery of process automation solutions using RPA and AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Contribute to evolution and support of cloud and infrastructure platforms underpinning business applications, integration, security, and operational resilience
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Systems, Technology, or related fields
- Computing degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Technology, or Computer Science, or equivalent relevant industry qualifications (ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2, MCSE)
- Solid project management experience with proven ability to lead complex initiatives to completion
- Familiarity with technical platforms, market solutions, and related industry trends
- Understanding of the wine and spirits distribution business model (advantageous)
- Strong ability to work independently under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese, written and spoken
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Systems, Technology, or related fields, with demonstrated solid project management expertise and proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in multinational environments.
Education
Computing degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Technology, or Computer Science. Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2, or MCSE are valued.
