Role & Responsibilities

• Execute full-spectrum payroll operations for 14 APAC countries, including payroll processing, salary payment, pension administration, and tax filing
• Manage end-to-end payroll and tax execution, ensuring timely submission of payroll journal entries to Finance with accurate accruals and provisioning
• Administer leave system configuration and policy updates across the APAC region
• Review and enhance vendor performance and service quality standards
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction on all payroll-related initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization within company guidelines to achieve greater operational efficiency
• Address audit and statutory compliance queries, maintaining adherence to all regulatory standards
• Participate in projects aimed at optimizing service delivery through automation, lean methodologies, and team skill enhancement

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of relevant experience in APAC payroll operations
• Strong proficiency in payroll and labour law regulations, particularly for Singapore, Malaysia, and India
• Demonstrated expertise in payroll processing, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
• Commitment to compliance and integrity in all operational matters
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors, Concur, and SAP (beneficial but not mandatory)

Minimum six years of hands-on experience in APAC payroll operations, with proven capability to manage complex payroll across multiple countries and deep familiarity with labour laws and tax regulations in Singapore, Malaysia, and India. Experience driving process improvements and managing vendor partnerships is essential.
