Moët Hennessy seeks Senior Manager, Territory Lead for Jersey City. Lead distributor partnerships, drive sales strategy, and manage key accounts in wines and spirits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key account distributors within market, communicating guidelines and expectations to ensure flawless execution across all channels, brands, objectives, and delivery against targets
  • Track distributor KPIs based on brand and market priorities; implement corrective action as necessary to drive sales and depletion goals aligned with national and local program calendars
  • Sell Moët Hennessy brands and products to accounts, identifying relevant activations, programs, and tactics for each opportunity
  • Identify opportunities for bespoke programs, deeper brand education, and upselling, engaging appropriate Moët Hennessy resources to maximize account potential
  • Conduct account visits to maintain relationships, monitor performance, gather market intelligence, and act as a strategic consultant on portfolio opportunities and growth initiatives
  • Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain strong relationships with key accounts; establish longer-term account partnerships through ongoing programming and strategic account planning
  • Partner with Field Trade Marketing and Experiential Development teams to execute programs and experiences in accounts
  • Manage and coach entry-level team members, including interns and Management Trainees, to support account execution, program implementation, and professional development
  • Ensure account needs for programs and activations are met and executed within Moët Hennessy brand guidelines
  • Participate in market and Maison visitor events, blitzes, and distributor education initiatives to strengthen partnerships
  • Manage order execution with distributors and maintain on-call communication to ensure customer relationship expectations are consistently met
  • Provide channel and market leadership with competitive intelligence, opportunity assessment, and risk analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience within sales and marketing in wine and spirits
  • Deep understanding of consumer expectations within hospitality and on-premise channels
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to manage and grow key account relationships
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and distributor networks within the wine and spirits sector
  • Well-developed financial and budget management skills
  • Highly effective influencing and partnering abilities
  • Refined communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to act as a liaison between distributors and internal stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (company vehicle eligible upon approval)
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
