Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with key distributor accounts, communicating guidelines, expectations, and brand objectives to ensure flawless execution across all channels and delivery of sales targets
- Track distributor KPIs based on brand and market priorities; implement corrective actions as needed to drive sales, depletion goals, and execution of national and local program calendars
- Sell in Moët Hennessy brands and products, identifying and executing relevant activations, programs, and tactics tailored to each account while identifying opportunities for bespoke programming and upsell
- Visit accounts regularly to maintain relationships, monitor performance, gather market intelligence, and serve as a strategic consultant on portfolio opportunities and growth initiatives
- Lead trade advocacy initiatives, maintaining relationships with key accounts and providing ongoing strategic counsel through education, programming, creative ideation, and data-driven analysis
- Partner with Field Trade Marketing and Experiential Development to execute programs and experiences in-venue, ensuring account needs are met within brand guidelines
- Manage account team execution and support career development for direct reports; provide leadership and accountability across the assigned market
- Participate in market and maison visitor events, trade blitzes, and distributor education programs to strengthen brand presence and partnership alignment
- Inform channel and market leadership of market opportunities, competitive risks, and strategic intelligence to support broader business planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within the wine and spirits sector
- Strong relationship-building and customer-centric solution delivery capabilities
- Demonstrated sales excellence and competitive drive
- Extensive knowledge of on-premise consumer expectations and market dynamics in Southern California
- Strong analytical ability with proficiency in ROI analysis and budget management
- Highly effective influencing and partnership skills with deep knowledge of professional sales techniques
- Refined communication and presentation capabilities across all organizational levels
- Ability to interpret and apply syndicated data insights and market intelligence
