Moët Hennessy seeks Senior Manager, Distributor Relations in Richmond, VA. Lead key account partnerships and drive wine & spirits sales across on- and off-premise channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with key account distributors within the assigned market, ensuring flawless execution across all channels and brands
- Communicate guidelines, expectations, and strategic objectives to distributor partners to ensure alignment with brand priorities and sales targets
- Monitor distributor key performance indicators (KPIs) against brand and market priorities; implement corrective actions as necessary
- Drive distributor achievement of sales, depletion goals, and execution of national and local program calendars
- Identify and activate bespoke partnership opportunities, deeper brand education initiatives, and upsell prospects with appropriate Moët Hennessy resources
- Conduct regular account visits to maintain relationships, monitor performance, and gather market intelligence and competitive insights
- Act as strategic consultant to accounts on portfolio opportunities and growth through advisory services, brand education, creative programming, and data-driven analysis
- Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain strengthened relationships with key accounts across on- and off-premise channels
- Partner with Field Trade Marketing and Experiential Development teams to execute innovative programs and experiences within accounts
- Collaborate with distributor sales representatives on pricing strategy, fulfillment support, and order execution
- Ensure account activation needs are met and executed in alignment with Moët Hennessy brand guidelines
- Build and maintain comprehensive key account plans through long-term partnerships and ongoing strategic programming
- Report competitive intelligence, market opportunities, and potential risks to channel and market leadership
- Oversee and develop account lead team members in market; support role execution and professional growth
- Participate in market visits, brand blitzes, and distributor education programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits
- Deep understanding of consumer expectations and channel dynamics
- Strong relationship building and key account management capabilities
- Demonstrated expertise in sales techniques and distributor network management
- Proven financial acumen and budget management skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (required for company vehicle eligibility)
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly
