Moët Hennessy — New York: Senior Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting (hybrid) to lead accounting, inventory and financial reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with established procedures.
- Manage preparation and review of legal‑entity financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and schedules) in accordance with US GAAP and applicable IFRS requirements.
- Own general ledger integrity, review payroll, capital expenditures and journal adjustments, and escalate material variances to the Controller.
- Provide senior oversight of inventory accounting: review reconciliations, validate control state billings, replenishments and inventory valuation.
- Supervise, mentor and develop accounting and financial reporting staff; participate in recruitment, performance management and training.
- Coordinate with Shared Services, Finance, Operations and Group Consolidation to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting and forecasts.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing accounting systems and procedures, proposing and implementing process enhancements and group initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting and lead responses to audit findings and external requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; MBA or master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including supervisory responsibility.
- Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and working familiarity with IFRS reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership experience developing accounting teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated experience with inventory accounting, reconciliations and valuation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible accounting and financial reporting experience, including hands‑on month‑end close and inventory accounting, with demonstrated supervisory or people‑management responsibilities; experience in a multinational or consumer goods environment is preferred.
Education
