Moët Hennessy USA seeks Senior Brand Director, Wines in New York. Lead luxury wine portfolio strategy, brand equity, and commercial growth. $156K–$195K + bonus.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and define the U.S. strategic vision and growth roadmap for the lifestyle wines and Rosés portfolio, ensuring alignment with Maison priorities and LVMH global direction
  • Act as steward of brand equity, ensuring all initiatives reinforce Maison DNA, desirability, and long-term brand value across consumer touchpoints
  • Serve as primary interface with Maisons, aligning U.S. strategy with global priorities while influencing upstream thinking on market-specific opportunities
  • Lead annual brand planning in collaboration with Maison, brand teams, Strategy & Business Planning, Consumer Connection, Trade Marketing, and Commercial teams
  • Partner with Finance to define, track, and deliver brand profit goals and P&L objectives while protecting premium positioning
  • Develop brand KPIs and performance metrics that balance short-term performance with long-term brand health and ROI
  • Lead A&P investment strategy, ensuring disciplined allocation aligned with highest-impact brand-building initiatives
  • Manage A&P budgets with strategic intent, maintaining brand reporting targets throughout fiscal year (LE1, LE2, Landing)
  • Support pricing, mix, allocation, and channel strategies in collaboration with Commercial teams to enable profitable growth consistent with brand positioning
  • Ensure wines team delivers best-in-class execution and consistency across all consumer-facing touchpoints, in partnership with Operations, Finance, Field & Trade Marketing teams
  • Design elevated activations, luxury point-of-sale materials, and brand assets that bring brand strategy to life and enhance moment of choice
  • Build deep product knowledge and market understanding through ongoing training, industry immersion, and market visits
  • Lead cross-functional partnerships across Strategy, Consumer Engagement, PR & Communications, Commercial Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR, and IT to deliver cohesive initiatives
  • Maintain close, collaborative relationships with Maisons to ensure alignment on U.S.-specific priorities and execution
  • Lead and manage agency, distributor, and third-party partners to ensure best-in-class brand delivery
  • Champion 'one team' ethos across all wines teams, fostering collaboration, clarity, and shared ownership
  • Lead, coach, and develop brand team, providing clear direction, priorities, and ongoing feedback

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of brand marketing experience, preferably in luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits industries
  • Deep expertise in brand strategy development within a commercial context
  • Elevated taste level with demonstrated understanding of luxury brand positioning and execution
  • Strong commercial orientation and deep understanding of the marketing and sales relationship
  • Strong financial acumen with understanding of key performance levers including depletions, sales, depletion-of-inventory (DOI), and P&L management
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Outstanding presentation skills with ability to communicate compelling brand narratives via PowerPoint and present confidently to large audiences
  • Strong analytical capabilities supporting data-driven decision-making
  • Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. three-tier distribution system

Education

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 156,000 to USD 195,000 per annum.
