Role & Responsibilities
- Own the annual P&L for assigned wine brands and translate financial drivers into executable commercial and marketing plans.
- Develop and implement three‑year brand strategies and annual brand plans by SKU and channel to deliver volume and value growth.
- Lead the UK fine wine category strategy, including portfolio prioritisation, channel development and tools to accelerate rate‑of‑sale.
- Create and maintain competition frameworks and market diagnostics to inform strategic and commercial decisions.
- Work closely with Maison teams and Moët Hennessy Wine Estates to ensure alignment through regular meetings and business reviews.
- Build target account lists, monitor distribution and collaborate with On‑Trade and Off‑Trade sales teams on pitches and promotional programmes.
- Define KPIs, measure marketing programme ROI and manage A&P deployment to budget, aligning central and Maison priorities.
- Design and oversee brand activations across all trade channels and act as the brand ambassador within the UK trade community.
- Monitor monthly sales performance, partner with Commercial Planning and Demand & Supply Planning on forecasting, vintage changes and stock allocations.
- Line manage and mentor the Brand Manager (Minuty & Chateau Galoupet) and the Wines intern, supporting day‑to‑day development and career progression.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years' experience in brand management with demonstrable commercial impact.
- Proven experience in the UK wine trade and strong understanding of on‑trade and off‑trade channels.
- Demonstrable P&L ownership and experience translating financial insight into growth plans.
- Previous line management experience with proven ability to develop direct reports.
- Strong analytical capability to support data‑driven decision making and performance diagnostics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across commercial and senior internal partners.
- WSET Level 3 (or equivalent wine qualification) is a plus.

Experience
Seven or more years of progressive brand management experience within the beverage or FMCG sector, with direct exposure to the UK wine trade, P&L responsibility and experience partnering closely with sales teams to convert brand activity into commercial growth.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Oenology or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications in marketing or a recognised wine certification (WSET) are advantageous.
