Moët Hennessy hiring Senior Accountant, General Ledger (12-month contract) in Singapore. Hybrid role managing GL operations, month-end close, reconciliations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and manage period-close activities with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct variance analysis and generate period-close reports, identifying unusual transactions or account movements
- Prepare, review, and reconcile appropriate ledger entries in accordance with accounting standards
- Manage fixed assets and oversee financial audit coordination and audit report preparation
- Participate in ad hoc projects including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system implementations
- Support in-market change management communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Execute various general ledger-related tasks and maintain strong internal controls
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably within US or European multinational corporations
- Strong background in General Ledger accounting and experience in complex, multicultural business environments
- University degree in Finance or Accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting standards (IFRS)
- Familiarity with SAP ECC, Excel macros, and Power BI preferred

5–7 years of accounting experience in multinational corporations, with strong expertise in General Ledger management and proven capability in complex, multicultural organizational environments.
Education
University degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
