Senior Accountant, General Ledger at Moët Hennessy Singapore. Manage financial records, month-end closings, and GL operations within LVMH luxury wines and spirits division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and manage monthly account closings with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct variance analysis and perform period-close activities, generating related reports and identifying unusual transactions or account movements
- Prepare and review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and accounting standards
- Manage fixed assets and oversee financial audits, including preparation of audit reports and coordination with internal and external auditors
- Participate in ad hoc projects including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support system implementations
- Support in-market change management communication and engage with stakeholders across the organization
- Handle various general ledger-related tasks and provide financial analysis to guide business decisions
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally within US or European multinational corporations
- Strong background in General Ledger management within complex, multicultural business environments
- University degree in Finance or Accounting
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with financial accounting standards (IFRS)
- Experience with SAP ECC, Excel macros, and Power BI preferred
Skills
Experience
5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally gained within US or European multinational corporations. Preference for candidates with a strong background in General Ledger accounting and experience in organizations with complex structures and multicultural business environments.
Education
University degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
