Moët Hennessy seeks a Senior Accountant, General Ledger in Singapore — 8‑month temporary role (hybrid).

Moët Hennessy is the Wines & Spirits division of the LVMH group, encompassing iconic Maisons such as Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot and Hennessy. Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and post recurring and non‑recurring journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger balances.
- Execute month‑end and period‑close activities, including variance analysis and preparation of timely close reports.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate unusual account movements to ensure integrity of financial statements.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation schedules and reconciliation of asset registers.
- Coordinate and support external and internal audits; prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and system initiatives, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support change management and stakeholder communications for in‑market accounting processes and controls.
- Handle miscellaneous general ledger matters and continuous improvement of accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' progressive accounting experience, preferably within US or European multinational corporations.
- Demonstrable expertise in general ledger accounting and month‑end close processes.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros and advanced functions.
- Familiarity with IFRS and experience preparing audit deliverables.
- Practical experience with SAP ECC; exposure to Power BI is advantageous.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline preferred.
- Proven stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills; meticulous and hands‑on approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while contributing effectively within a team.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with strong General Ledger exposure; experience in US or European multinational environments and complex, multicultural organizational structures is preferred.
Education
University degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline preferred.
