Senior Accountant, General Ledger role at Moët Hennessy in Hong Kong; manage GL operations, month-end closings, and financial reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, and reconcile balance sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Conduct period-close activities including variance analysis, monthly account closings, and identification of unusual transactions or account movements
- Prepare and review general ledger entries and reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations
- Oversee financial audits and prepare audit reports in compliance with accounting standards
- Participate in ad hoc projects including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system implementations and upgrades
- Support change management communication and engage with stakeholders during organizational transitions
- Handle various other general ledger-related tasks and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably from US or European multinational corporations
- Strong background in General Ledger accounting and experience in complex, multicultural business environments
- University degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Korean language proficiency essential for stakeholder communication
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Experience with SAP ECC, Excel macros, and Power BI advantageous

5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in US or European multinational corporations with strong General Ledger expertise and exposure to complex organizational structures and multicultural business environments.
Education
University degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
