Moët Hennessy Hong Kong: Senior Accountant, General Ledger – 12-month contract role managing financial records, month-end close, and audits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct month-end and period-close activities including variance analysis and generating related reports
- Identify and investigate unusual transactions or account movements to ensure data integrity
- Manage fixed asset records and reconciliations
- Oversee financial audit processes and prepare audit reports
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and participate in ad hoc projects
- Facilitate in-market change management communication and engage stakeholders
- Handle various general ledger-related tasks and maintain strong internal controls
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience in US or European multinational corporations
- Strong background in General Ledger accounting
- Experience in organizations with complex structures and multicultural business environments
- Korean language proficiency (essential)
- University degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)
