Moët Hennessy seeks a Sales Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to manage FTT contracts, depletion analysis and commercial reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage Funds-to-Trade (FTT) contract performance: perform efficiency analyses on FTT, rebates, discounts and A&P to optimise commercial spend and future sales margin by improving product mix.
- Lead contractual review and renewal processes with the sales team and monitor top contracted outlets by brand and channel.
- Analyse monthly depletion and NSI versus contractual targets; produce variance analysis and actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Oversee wholesaler depletion, replenishment and reimbursement (R&R) processes: ensure timely, accurate submissions, audit against sales invoices and reconcile sell-in/sell-out and stock-in-trade discrepancies.
- Maintain and validate volume adjustments in the MHD System and Vistex, ensuring data integrity across systems.
- Support ASPIRE SalesForce and Qliksense governance: monitor record changes, train and guide users, customise reports within Qliksense and uphold data quality.
- Identify process and internal control improvements; propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, compliance and data accuracy.
- Plan and execute wholesalers’ stock-takes, lead reconciliations and implement corrective action plans.
- Prepare contract documentation for legal review, develop and maintain reporting templates and deliver ad hoc analyses as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales analyst, commercial analyst or related role.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related discipline (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Qliksense and CRM/reporting systems.
- Familiarity with P&L statements and commercial finance concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and proven problem-solving ability.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; collaborative team player with high integrity.
- Ability to work independently under pressure, manage competing priorities and travel when required.
- Basic fluency in Chinese.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years in a sales or commercial analysis role, preferably within FMCG, wines & spirits, distribution or luxury goods, with direct exposure to wholesaler/distributor management, contract performance tracking and depletion analysis.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field preferred.
