Moët Hennessy seeks a Sales Ambassador – Off Trade in Mexico City to grow sales, develop strategic retail relationships, and ensure strong commercial execution. The role combines account management and customer visits with sales analytics, forecasting, KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial plans for assigned Off Trade accounts, aligned with sales objectives.
- Drive sales growth and achieve commercial targets through account management, assortment optimization, and customer development.
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key retail customers, distributors, buyers, and decision-makers.
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure profitable agreements, promotional compliance, and alignment with company objectives and brand standards.
- Identify business opportunities to increase sales, distribution, visibility, and market share in retail.
- Conduct regular customer visits and store checks to review performance, identify opportunities, and strengthen partnerships.
- Ensure in-store execution across visibility, shelf presence, secondary placement, promotional initiatives, and brand standards.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, sell-in, sell-out, depletion, inventory, and customer KPIs to identify opportunities and risks.
- Extract, consolidate, and analyze commercial data from SAP, internal systems, and external sources such as market research and retail panel data.
- Develop and improve reporting dashboards and scorecards using Power BI and advanced Excel tools.
- Generate actionable insights to support commercial strategies, category performance, and customer development plans.
- Lead sales forecasting and support demand planning through data-driven analysis.
- Analyze customer profitability, product mix performance, pricing opportunities, and market trends.
- Prepare monthly business reviews, commercial performance reports, and executive presentations.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across sales reporting processes.
- Support management decisions with ad hoc analysis and business recommendations.
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams.
- Support annual planning cycles, budget reviews, and commercial initiatives with analytical insights.
- Improve reporting processes and business performance tracking.
- Contribute to Commercial Excellence initiatives through data analysis, KPI monitoring, and performance management.
- Balance office-based analytical work with regular customer and store visits within Mexico City to strengthen relationships, identify opportunities, and ensure commercial initiatives are executed successfully.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, International Business, or a related field.
- Experience in Sales, Commercial Excellence, Business Analytics, Sales Operations, Revenue Management, or related commercial roles; experience in FMCG, premium beverages, consumer goods, luxury brands, or retail is preferred.
- Proven experience managing retail customer relationships and delivering commercial results.
- Experience in sales reporting, forecasting, KPI management, and performance analysis.
- Experience with distributors and Off Trade or retail customers is highly desirable.
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
