Moët Hennessy seeks a Revenue Accountant in Sydney, Australia — 12‑month temporary, hybrid role focused on rebate accounting and VISTEX management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end rebate and FTT accounting: capture, settlement, reporting, month‑end close and reconciliation.
- Manage and administer the VISTEX system including month‑end close processes for rebate and FTT balances.
- Calculate rebate accruals and entitlement computations from customer contracts and claims data.
- Perform due diligence on rebate and FTT payment requests and process settlements for AU/NZ accounts.
- Reconcile balances and undertake agreement reviews with Sales and the Business Planning & Control (BPC) team.
- Partner with BPC, Logistics and Sales to provide commercial rebate data, influence accrual strategy and support NSI, inventory and COGS functional areas.
- Maintain and document systems and process controls; review and streamline procedures on an ongoing basis.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and undertake other tasks as assigned by management consistent with the role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
- Minimum three years’ relevant accounting experience in FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, retail or an accounting firm serving these sectors.
- Demonstrable experience in accrual accounting, month‑end close and reconciliation processes.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the fast moving consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution or retail sectors — or equivalent advisory experience in a public accounting environment; costing experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting; CPA/CA preferred.
