Moët Hennessy seeks a Revenue Accountant in Sydney (12‑month temporary, hybrid) to manage rebate accounting, VISTEX and inventory/COGS reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end rebate and FTT accounting: capture, settlement processing, reporting and reconciliation for Australian and New Zealand accounts.
- Act as the Finance functional expert for rebate accounting, providing technical guidance and governance across the business.
- Operate and maintain the VISTEX system, including month‑end close activities for rebate and FTT modules.
- Prepare rebate accruals based on customer contracts and compute individual rebate entitlements.
- Perform due diligence on rebate and FTT payment requests and process settlements for NKA accounts (AU and NZ).
- Maintain individual rebate/FTT tracking and conduct balance reconciliations with Sales and BPC teams.
- Provide rebate and claim data to BPC and Sales to inform commercial reviews and accrual strategy.
- Partner with BPC, Logistics and Sales on NSI, inventory/COGS, cost-of-selling (distribution, duties/excise) and P&L reporting.
- Drive systems and process improvements: document, streamline and embed best-practice procedures related to functional responsibilities.
- Support ad hoc finance projects and undertake other tasks assigned by management consistent with role scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting; CPA/CA qualification preferred.
- Minimum three years’ relevant experience in FMCG, manufacturing, distribution or retail accounting (or public practice servicing these sectors).
- Demonstrable experience with rebate accounting, accruals and month‑end close processes.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with commercial and operational teams.
- Strong ethical standards, accuracy under pressure, and a proactive, autonomous work style.

Experience
Minimum three years’ relevant working experience in the fast‑moving consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution or retail sectors; experience in costing within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting; CPA/CA preferred.
