Moët & Chandon Internship: Retail Performance & Merchandising Strategy in Épernay. 6-month internship commencing January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in setting sales objectives and performance targets for retail locations
- Develop and implement analytical tools for monitoring performance across shop, visitor center, and bar operations
- Track product family performance monthly, including deliveries, sales, and inventory levels
- Support shop managers and venue leads in activity management and operational decision-making
- Optimize product assortments to maximize sales and profitability, improving sell-through rates and stock rotation
- Prepare Open To Buy analyses and recommendations
- Monitor orders, coordinate related actions, and optimize procurement processes
- Coordinate product launches and visual merchandising initiatives with marketing teams
- Contribute to product offering development with the marketing department
- Consolidate qualitative feedback from retail locations
- Conduct market studies and competitive analyses
- Create sales support tools and prepare product training materials
- Prepare monthly performance reviews and activity reports
Qualifications
- First validated experience in retail or commercial management
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities with proficiency in data interpretation
- Demonstrated interest in numerical analysis and customer relationships
- Prior experience in luxury retail environments preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with statistical tools and data visualization
- Fluent English and French communication skills

Currently pursuing or holder of a degree in retail management, business administration, merchandising, or equivalent field
