Moët & Chandon R&D Intern – Microbiology & Biochemistry in Épernay, France. Six-month on-site internship in champagne yeast research.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support ongoing trials related to yeast selection processes
  • Prepare comprehensive synthesis documentation on yeast selection and characterization for Moët Hennessy houses
  • Continue characterization studies of proprietary microbial strains from LVMH champagne maisons
  • Conduct laboratory analyses, synthesize findings, and communicate results to the research team

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Microbiology, Enology, Biotechnology, or equivalent engineering school qualification
  • Proficiency in alcoholic fermentation and fermentation techniques
  • Knowledge of laboratory best practices and safety protocols
  • Competence in statistical analysis methods
  • Strong scientific and technical reasoning
