Moët Hennessy in Shanghai seeks a Purchasing Intern to support procurement via Ariba, vendor admin and PO processing. Internship, on-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support low-value bidding and sourcing activities through Ariba, with a focus on POSM categories and collection of CSR supplier questionnaires.
- Execute procurement administrative tasks with meticulous attention to detail, including vendor creation, quotation verification, purchase order release and assistance with contracting workflows.
- Respond to stakeholder and vendor inquiries regarding SOPs, process status and procurement Q&A.
- Provide ad hoc support to the purchasing manager and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Currently an undergraduate student (junior level preferred) or equivalent enrolment in a relevant degree programme.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Availability to work on-site; a minimum of three days per week preferred.
Skills
Experience
No extensive prior experience required; internship-suitable candidates with basic exposure to procurement or vendor administration are preferred. Familiarity with Ariba or other e-sourcing platforms is an advantage.
Education
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme (business, supply chain, procurement, or a related discipline preferred).
