Production Supervisor – Moët & Chandon, Épernay. Lead packaging operations team and drive production excellence in this permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure personnel safety and contribute to improving workshop safety by conducting work groups in collaboration with the Health & Safety service and CHSCT, analysing incidents and medical records, and updating risk documentation
- Lead and manage a production team including activity coordinators by effectively communicating information, organising team meetings, analysing and presenting performance results, and evaluating workload and absences
- Conduct annual evaluations for team members, propose training and compensation adjustments, and ensure integration and monitoring of temporary personnel including apprentices, trainees, and fixed-term employees
- Guarantee quality assurance by optimizing resources to meet production deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets, ensuring compliance with Quality, Environment, and Food Safety procedures
- Pilot the updating of production standards in collaboration with support services and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance daily and long-term workshop performance
- Organise production activities by participating in production planning, coordinating personnel allocation based on resources and needs, and informing peripheral services of programme changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of production management or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of production processes, procedures, and manufacturing workflows
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and personnel management
- Proficiency with production tools and computer systems
- Knowledge of Quality, Environment, and Food Safety compliance standards
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in production management, manufacturing supervision, or a comparable operational leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Education
Technical training or certification in production management, industrial operations, or related field; secondary education level or equivalent required.
