Private Client Manager at Moët Hennessy in New York: Build HNWI relationships, drive luxury sales, and create premium brand experiences. $110K–$137K + bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Leverage existing relationships and networks within the U.S. wine and spirits connoisseur community to identify, recruit, and convert high-net-worth individuals into high-value clients and revenue generators
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to identify and secure target groups and individual high-potential clients through strategic partnerships and collaborative business opportunities
- Cultivate individual relationships with high-potential clients to build brand loyalty, drive repeat purchasing, and maximize lifetime client value
- Collaborate with Brand and Private Client teams to strategize, develop, and execute unique, elevated luxury consumer experiences and product launches aligned with Moët Hennessy brand standards
- Plan and execute seamless, client-facing events and exclusive experiences—including Hennessy Paradis tastings and brand activations—that maximize sales opportunities and client engagement
- Establish and achieve sales and depletion key performance indicators; plan, allocate, and appropriately leverage sales opportunities and A&P budgets to ensure consistent achievement of financial targets
- Monitor market intelligence, competitive activities, and HNWI consumer trends; analyze spending patterns and generate reports and presentations to inform brand positioning and strategic planning
- Maintain comprehensive client records and sales data within the company CRM database; monitor and manage U.S. product allocations to ensure appropriate availability of rare and innovative products
- Represent Moët Hennessy brands at the highest standards of luxury, generating goodwill and aspiration among HNWI clients, VIP event attendees, media, and business partners
- Perform account visits, transport point-of-sale materials, and manage other field responsibilities requiring frequent regional travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 7+ years of luxury sales experience combining marketing and brand management
- Existing established network or relationships within the U.S. high-net-worth consumer market
- Extensive technical knowledge of high-end wines and spirits ingredients, distilling processes, and competitive landscape
- Strong understanding of HNWI marketing strategies and practices
- Well-developed commercial acumen and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize market data
- Highly refined communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities
- Diplomacy, professionalism, and humility to function successfully in a service capacity for high-profile HNWI clients
- Confidence, relatability, and ability to engage and sell to high-net-worth individuals with authenticity
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; eligibility for company vehicle subject to approval process
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Experience
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in luxury sales, with demonstrated success combining marketing strategy, brand management, and account development. The candidate should possess an established personal network within the U.S. high-net-worth consumer market and proven experience in building and scaling relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Previous experience in luxury goods sectors such as watches, fine jewelry, or ultra-premium spirits is highly valued.
