Moët Hennessy seeks Payroll Specialist in Singapore for full-time role managing APAC payroll operations with 3+ years experience required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end payroll operations including payroll processing, salary payments, pension administration, and tax filing for Singapore, Malaysia, and potentially other regions, serving as subject matter expert and ensuring business continuity
  • Process full-spectrum payroll services including compensation, benefits, pension contributions, and statutory tax submissions while coordinating with Finance for funding and timely journal entry submission with related accruals and provisioning
  • Administer leave system configuration and policy updates, ensuring accurate leave tracking and employee communications across all managed payroll regions
  • Manage vendor relationships and quality of service reviews, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance vendor performance and service delivery
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including HR, Finance, legal, and statutory bodies to ensure alignment, resolve escalations, and maintain compliance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, automation opportunities, and lean methodologies to enhance efficiency while maintaining compliance
  • Address compliance queries from internal and external audits, manage statutory filings, and maintain comprehensive process documentation to support regulatory requirements
  • Participate in projects to optimize service delivery through automation, upskilling, and knowledge transfer across the payroll and People Services teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in payroll operations, HR operations, or related functions
  • Foundational understanding of payroll processes, labour laws, and APAC payroll operations (particularly Singapore and Malaysia)
  • Strong analytical capabilities with ability to dive into complex problems and develop strategic solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build impactful relationships and foster cross-functional teamwork
  • Proactive and inquisitive mindset with enthusiasm for continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships effectively and drive quality improvements
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with highest professional and ethical standards
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors, Concur, and SAP systems is beneficial but not mandatory
