Moët Hennessy seeks an Off-Premise Account Manager to lead account relationships and deliver sales and visibility goals, working remotely from Atlanta and in market as business needs require. This permanent, full-time role manages account plans, brand programmes, distributor partnerships and budget ROI; annual compensation is $101,000–$126,000 plus bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Sell Moët Hennessy brands and products, selecting relevant activations, programmes and tactics for each account.
- Identify opportunities for bespoke programmes, deeper brand education and upselling, engaging appropriate Moët Hennessy resources.
- Visit accounts to maintain relationships, monitor performance and gather updates.
- Advise accounts on portfolio opportunities and growth through education, programming, creative ideas and analysis.
- Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Maintain on-call communication to ensure customer relationship expectations are met.
- Work with distributor sales teams on in-market pricing alignment and programme support.
- Ensure account programme and activation needs are met and execution adheres to Moët Hennessy brand guidelines.
- Develop key account plans through long-term partnerships and ongoing programming.
- Inform the channel or market lead of opportunities, risks and competitive intelligence.
- Participate in market and Maison visits, sales blitzes and distributor education.
- Collaborate with the Channel Lead to translate channel strategy for in-market accounts.
- Partner with Field Trade Marketing and Experiential Development to execute programmes and experiences in accounts.
- Partner with the distributor to manage order execution.
- Maximise return on investment for the assigned budget.
- Drive frequently to visit accounts, transport point-of-sale materials and meet essential business needs.
- Lift up to 20 lb.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits.
- A valid driver's licence and an acceptable driving record; eligibility for a company vehicle is subject to a satisfactory driving record and completion of the company's approval process.
- Build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Strong sales background.
- Self-starter with a competitive attitude.
- Extensive understanding of consumer expectations within the geography.
- Apply knowledge of key business issues to effective sales pitches and strategy-setting.
- Experience analysing return on investment and managing budgets.
- Strong influencing and partnering skills, with knowledge of sales techniques.
