Moët & Chandon seeks experienced NPD Project Manager in Epernay, France. Lead packaging and product innovation from concept to launch in luxury beverages.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and lead all assigned projects from conception through first shipment, establishing clear project objectives and performance indicators aligned with quality, cost, and timeline parameters
- Clarify marketing briefs, define project deliverables including business cases, industrial and financial requirements, and formalize validation milestones
- Challenge and hold accountable internal teams and external partners including suppliers and creative agencies
- Anticipate, manage, and optimize project risks across quality, cost, and delivery; implement preventive and corrective actions and maintain transparent stakeholder communication
- Develop and execute packaging and POSM technical specifications from marketing requirements through industrialization in collaboration with creative agencies and designers
- Select suppliers, evaluate feasibility, estimate costs and timelines, and coordinate prototype development and validation with the marketing team
- Manage quality testing protocols in collaboration with the Quality department; pilot tests, analyze results, and execute necessary corrective actions
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation including specification sheets, product briefs for co-packers, and defect profiles; ensure integration into PLM systems
- Lead and facilitate project management meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and document key decision points, timelines, risks, and opportunities for steering committee reviews
- Define technical and graphic platforms, coordinate design validation with marketing, and approve print proofs and color specifications
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in engineering or business school graduate
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in luxury goods or packaging development
- Proficiency in MS Project and project planning methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of materials including glass, wood, cardboard, and metals; understanding of their transformation processes and printing techniques
- Expertise in production processes, industrial equipment, and co-packing operations
- Knowledge of packaging regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Strong cross-functional management and meeting facilitation capabilities
- Leadership ability to inspire and challenge teams; capacity for constructive strategic thinking
- Analytical and synthesizing mindset with strong results orientation
- Proactive approach to risk anticipation and solution optimization

Experience
Minimum 3 years of complex project management experience, with demonstrated expertise in technical packaging development and luxury product manufacturing. Candidates should possess working knowledge of supplier management, production machinery, and industrial processes within the luxury goods or premium beverages sector.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in engineering or business administration.
