National Account Manager at Moët Hennessy, London. Manage key retail customer strategies and Moet Hennessy brand distribution for major supermarket accounts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customer strategies and annual plans to achieve budgeted volumes, cost prices, customer investment and profit targets
- Manage monthly and annual sales forecasts within the commercial planning system and maintain up-to-date account plans using company standards
- Protect and grow distribution of Moët Hennessy brands within assigned customer accounts in accordance with channel guidelines
- Analyse sell-out data via customer EPOS systems and conduct pre- and post-evaluation of all promotional activity
- Build strong external relationships across all customer departments and develop, negotiate and track annual Joint Business Plans
- Ensure cross-functional internal support from category, marketing and supply chain teams for key customer initiatives
- Develop channel-specific customer plans to capitalise on emerging growth channels such as online and convenience
- Deliver product education and tasting events as required
- Collaborate with Moët Hennessy UK and customer supply chain teams to meet agreed service level targets
- Gather and analyse competitor information and Brand view data to identify market activity, price changes and new business opportunities
- Complete timely commercial administration including pricing changes, new line administration and invoice processing
- Manage credit and work with finance team to facilitate effective cash collection
- Ensure absolute compliance with competition law and participate in transversal projects as required
Qualifications
- WSET certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Degree-level education
- Full driving licence
- Minimum 5 years National Account Management experience in FMCG
- Blue Chip FMCG sales training background
- P&L management experience
- Knowledge of Category Management practices
- Experience managing customers across online channels
- Exposure to premium or luxury brands
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of National Account Management experience in FMCG sectors, with proven track record of managing major retail customers and P&L responsibility. Candidate should have demonstrated experience in category management, online channel development, and exposure to premium or luxury brand portfolios.
Education
Degree-level education required. WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) certificate preferred but not essential. Full driving licence required.
