Moët Hennessy – London: National Account Manager for Waitrose, M&S and Booths. Hybrid role managing key grocery accounts to drive category and brand growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a customer strategy and annual commercial plan for Waitrose, M&S and Booths to achieve agreed volume, margin, customer investment and profit targets.
  • Manage monthly and annual sales forecasting within the commercial planning system and maintain up‑to‑date customer account plans and supporting documentation.
  • Protect and grow distribution of Moët Hennessy brands within assigned customers and channels, including online and convenience.
  • Analyse sell‑out and EPOS data to monitor performance; complete pre‑ and post‑promotion evaluations to optimise promotional ROI.
  • Lead negotiation and delivery of Joint Business Plans with key customers and track performance versus plan both internally and with retailer stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with category, marketing and supply teams to ensure appropriate support, service levels and inventory fulfilment for designated accounts.
  • Support trade marketing with media planning and execution; maintain relationships with customers' media planners and category teams.
  • Oversee the customer online platform experience and digital activation to educate consumers and drive ecommerce sales.
  • Design and implement compelling visual merchandising and in‑store displays to enhance brand presentation and shopper engagement.
  • Gather competitor intelligence and weekly brand view data to identify market movements, pricing changes and new business opportunities.
  • Deliver product education and tasting events as required and participate in customer trade briefings and networking to deepen partnership and insight.
  • Ensure timely completion of commercial administration (pricing changes, new line setup, invoice processing) and enable effective credit management with finance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG national account management or equivalent roles managing major grocery customers.
  • Demonstrable P&L management experience and exposure to blue‑chip FMCG sales training.
  • Strong knowledge of Category Management and experience managing customers in the online channel.
  • Exposure to premium or luxury brands and an affinity for high‑end brand positioning.
  • WSET certification preferred (not essential) and a full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, numeric literacy and communication skills; highly organised and commercially driven.

Experience
