Moët Hennessy Marketing Director, ANZ position in Sydney. Lead luxury wine & spirits marketing across Australia and New Zealand within LVMH Group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive mid- to long-term strategic marketing planning for ANZ in alignment with Moët Hennessy's brand ambition, business priorities, and North Star
- Develop and deliver ANZ brand programs and campaigns that create scale and amplify impact, in partnership with Maisons, commercial teams, and consumer engagement partners
- Strengthen consumer centricity and leverage insights to drive strategic responsiveness to evolving buying patterns and market dynamics
- Translate Maison plans and guidelines into ANZ marketing and business strategies that enhance relevance for consumers and customers
- Build collaborative working relationships across the ANZ cluster, operating effectively within a matrix environment and representing the cluster to Maisons and group leadership
- Lead the development of marketing and brand strategies with deep understanding of customer and consumer dynamics across Australia and New Zealand
- Develop and refine annual brand plans aligned with Managing Director priorities, Maison requirements, and North Star delivery
- Implement marketing programs and campaigns on time, on plan, and on budget, managing agency relationships for brand and marketing execution
- Develop and track clear KPIs aligned to brand, commercial, and consumer objectives; maximize digital consumer engagement across ANZ
- Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to identify business opportunities and build strategic growth plans
- Oversee the ANZ customer marketing agenda and team, ensuring strategic alignment to brand priorities and execution excellence across channels
- Achieve agreed brand contribution and performance levels through monitoring and control of pricing, trade offers, and A&P spend
- Role-model LVMH leadership values and cultivate a culture of high performance, creativity, and collaboration within the marketing organization
- Attract, retain, and nurture top marketing talent with focus on succession planning and internal mobility
- Guide and develop ANZ marketing teams through regular reviews, coaching, and performance feedback
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Managing Director and ExCo members, contributing perspectives on consumer and market dynamics to business decisions and transformation initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 12+ years of people and team management and development experience leading high-performance marketing teams in ANZ or comparable markets
- Extensive understanding of the luxury sector and prestige brands
- Customer-focused brand and digital marketing expertise with deep knowledge in consumer research, public relations, and production
- Analytical and data-driven mindset combined with strong presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Creative problem-solving ability with capacity to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and adapt to market changes
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to relate to all levels internally and externally
- Commercial acumen and cultural awareness with ability to navigate the nuances of Australia and New Zealand markets
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration and/or Marketing-related fields
- Fluency in written and spoken English
