Moët Hennessy seeks a Market Manager in Kinshasa, DRC to drive distributor growth and commercial strategy across Middle East & Africa.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market-specific three‑year commercial strategies informed by market dynamics, route‑to‑consumer analysis and competitive benchmarking.
- Identify and capitalise on new commercial opportunities using sales data, market benchmarks and consumer insights to inform decisions.
- Define and execute distributor and key‑account sales plans, including pricing, promotion and channel assortment to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Manage in‑market distributors: establish rolling roadmaps, weekly/monthly/quarterly checkpoints and performance reporting to ensure execution of the Maison agenda.
- Produce and maintain market scorecards and performance dashboards; monitor sales KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Oversee operational requirements including timely order submission, supply‑chain coordination and control of days‑sales‑outstanding (DSO).
- Negotiate and manage commercial contracts, trade terms and compliance, flagging credit or counterfeit risks to regional stakeholders.
- Lead trade marketing and distribution initiatives: maintain channel census, conduct trade visits, and ensure brand presence across On‑ and Off‑Trade.
- Act as brand ambassador: develop annual brand plans with distributors and regional marketing, and represent Moët Hennessy to trade, influencers and officials.
- Build cross‑functional relationships internally and externally; provide regular market intelligence and participate in regional projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international relations, or a related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
- Proven commercial leadership with 7–10 years in international sales or commercial roles, ideally with prior responsibility as a Commercial or Market Manager.
- Demonstrated experience working with distributors, wholesalers and key accounts across multiple channels (On‑Trade and Off‑Trade) at the premium level.
- Strong negotiating and presentation skills with the ability to represent premium brands to trade partners and public stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (more than 50%).

Seven to ten years in international commercial or sales roles with demonstrable success managing distributors and strategic accounts in premium wines & spirits or adjacent FMCG industries; cross‑border and multi‑channel exposure across the Middle East/Africa region is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
