Moët Hennessy seeks Market Director for Wines & Spirits in Concord, NH. Manage distributor relationships, key accounts, and regional sales strategy. $134K–$168K annually plus bonus.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee depletion and revenue goals for assigned market territory
  • Plan and manage budgets and brand allocations; allocate resources across states and cities
  • Ensure quality of brand mix, inventory, size mix, and market pricing to drive growth and profitability
  • Monitor sales and depletion metrics; manage distributors to ensure targets are met
  • Oversee program and pricing calendar in partnership with distributors
  • Manage market forecasts in partnership with Forecasting & Operations; attend weekly operations calls and monthly working sessions
  • Manage DPP and FTT budgets effectively; align with commercial enablement on pricing feedback
  • Supervise account leads and distributor team members to achieve sales and strategic objectives
  • Engage with key customer accounts and manage on/off-premise channel sales and depletion goals
  • Drive distributor adoption of brand guidelines, priorities, and strategies to deliver targets
  • Track and manage distributor KPIs; take corrective action as necessary
  • Lead regular business reviews to facilitate distributor alignment with company strategy
  • Participate in market and maison visitor activities, blitzes, and distributor education programs
  • Negotiate internally on behalf of the Commercial Sales team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience required; MBA or Marketing degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of professional sales and marketing experience in wine and spirits industry
  • Proven ability to manage complex distributor networks and key account relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills across broad geographies
  • Well-developed finance and budget management capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and distributor channel dynamics
  • Highly effective influencing and partnering skills
  • Refined communication and presentation abilities
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
