Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support distributor sales teams to achieve brand priorities and translate channel strategy into market execution
  • Oversee and monitor sales and depletion goals within the assigned territory to ensure targets are met and drive velocity growth
  • Sell Moët Hennessy brands and products, selecting relevant activations, programs, and tactical initiatives for each account
  • Identify opportunities for bespoke programs, deeper brand education, and upselling, bringing appropriate resources to enhance account value
  • Develop comprehensive key account plans including KPIs for distribution and menu listings, support strategies, and regular velocity tracking and analysis
  • Act as strategic consultant to accounts on portfolio opportunities and growth, offering expert advice, education, programming, and creative solutions
  • Lead trade advocacy initiatives and cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts through regular engagement and relationship stewardship
  • Maintain ongoing communication with accounts to ensure expectations are met and strengthen customer relationships
  • Collaborate with distributor sales representatives on pricing, fulfillment support, and order execution to maximize efficiency
  • Ensure account needs for programs and activations are met and executed in alignment with Moët Hennessy brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Channel Lead to translate broader channel strategy into account-level execution and business outcomes
  • Partner with Field Trade Marketing and Experiential Development to execute programs and consumer experiences within accounts
  • Inform the Channel Lead or Market Lead of opportunities, competitive intelligence, and potential risks
  • Participate in market visits, brand educator blitzes, and distributor and trade education events
  • Effectively manage assigned budgets including travel and entertainment expenses and advertising and promotion allocations
  • Lift and carry materials weighing 20+ lbs on occasion as required for account visits and activations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales and marketing within the wine and spirits industry
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with demonstrated ability to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Proven track record in direct sales with a competitive and self-motivated attitude
  • Extensive understanding of consumer expectations and market dynamics within the assigned geography
  • Ability to apply knowledge of key business issues to develop effective sales pitches and strategic account planning
  • Well-developed experience analyzing return on investment (ROI) and managing budgets responsibly
