Moët Hennessy seeks Manager, On Premise Account Lead in Chicago, Illinois—manage key accounts, drive wine & spirits sales, and lead distributor partnerships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and support distributor sales teams to achieve brand priorities and translate channel strategy to in-market accounts
- Oversee and monitor sales and depletion goals within assigned territory to ensure targets are met
- Develop and execute key account plans including distribution KPIs, menu listings, and account support strategies
- Identify opportunities for bespoke programs, deeper brand education, and portfolio upsells, coordinating internal resources
- Act as strategic consultant to accounts on portfolio growth opportunities via education, programming, creative initiatives, and data analysis
- Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain relationship cadence through regular 1:1 account engagement and entertainment
- Partner with Field Trade Marketing and Experiential Development to design and execute consumer experiences aligned with brand guidelines
- Manage assigned budgets including travel, entertainment (T&E), and advertising and promotion (A&P) expenditures
- Communicate competitive intelligence, market opportunities, and risks to Channel Lead and Market Lead
- Participate in market and Maison visitor events, training blitzes, and distributor education programs
- Conduct frequent in-market account visits to support order fulfillment, pricing negotiation, and point-of-sale material distribution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits
- Strong background in B2B sales with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels
- Proven experience in budget management and ROI analysis
- Competency in sales techniques, influencing, and partnering skills
- Advanced analytical capability with ability to interpret and apply syndicated data insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills refined for executive-level interaction
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Experience
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits, with demonstrated success in account management, sales growth, and P&L responsibility. Candidate must possess extensive knowledge of consumer expectations within geography and ability to manage key account relationships across all organizational levels.
Education
