Moët Hennessy seeks Manager, On & Off-Premise Account Lead in Edison, NJ. Lead account strategy, sales execution, and trade marketing across 55+ distributor accounts. $119K–$137K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a target account list of at least 55 accounts in New Jersey (ideally split 50/50 on-premise and off-premise), visiting the entire universe at minimum monthly to maintain relationships and monitor performance
- Execute strategic account planning through long-term partnerships, ongoing programming, and alignment on menu, display, cold box, and staff training goals aligned with Market Director objectives
- Sell Moët Hennessy brands and products by selecting relevant activations and national brand programs tailored to each account, acting as a trusted advisor on portfolio opportunities and growth
- Collaborate with distributor sales representatives on pricing, fulfillment support, and account intelligence sharing, ensuring distributors remain informed of all account calls and sales information
- Design and execute trade marketing and bespoke brand programs in collaboration with Field Trade Marketing, local team, and distributor leads to build brand awareness and consumer demand
- Lead trade advocacy initiatives and conduct a minimum of 4 staff trainings per month to drive product knowledge and advocacy
- Execute Mosaic Merchandising within the key account universe, including brand standards compliance, RSP pricing adherence, shelf adjacencies strategy, survey collection, and in-store demonstrations
- Participate actively in market/Maison visitor hosting, market blitzes, and distributor education activations within key accounts, including events during extended hours and weekends
- Complete monthly recaps of marketing activity, sales performance, depletions analysis using Power BI, and ROI analysis to track KPI achievement
- Maintain accurate account surveys, KPIs, activations, and meeting notes within Aspire CRM system and report emerging opportunities, business risks, and competitive intelligence to channel or market leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant industry experience in wine, champagne, or spirits
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Strong track record in sales with demonstrated competitive attitude and self-starter mentality
- Extensive understanding of consumer expectations and market dynamics within the geographic region
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and proven ability to influence and partner across all organizational levels
- Well-developed experience analyzing ROI, budget management, and syndicated data insights
- Proficiency with Power BI for performance tracking and data analysis
- Proficiency with Aspire CRM system
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; ability to frequent driving to support account visits and business needs
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly
- Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States
