Moët & Chandon in Epernay seeks a Lubrication Technician to manage lubrication, oil sampling and AMO logging on rotating shifts (06:00–13:00 / 13:00–20:00).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute the lubrication and in-service monitoring maintenance plan for production equipment, ensuring continuous, compliant operation.
  • Prepare interventions by performing pre-task risk analyses to guarantee safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Independently organise and schedule interventions in line with production line opening hours and operational priorities.
  • Check and top up oil levels, perform drains and refills when necessary, and ensure correct lubrication of all assigned equipment.
  • Detect and escalate mechanical faults (abnormal temperatures, pressures, noises, odors) and document observations.
  • Collect oil and lubricant samples for laboratory analysis and follow up on results.
  • Write and file detailed intervention reports after daily lubrication rounds.
  • Log and track technical interventions in the AMO maintenance application.
  • Provide ad hoc mechanical support for line operations according to activity needs.
  • Progressively integrate additional responsibilities: preventive maintenance on vacuum pumps, preventive and corrective maintenance of sectional doors on process lines, support for leak-detection inspections and remediation, and participation in preventive maintenance of chain conveyors.
  • Work rotating shifts (06:00–13:00 / 13:00–20:00).

Qualifications

  • Vocational training in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance (BEP, BTS, CAP, or equivalent).
  • 3–5 years' experience in a similar industrial maintenance role, preferably in food or beverage production.
  • Demonstrable competence in lubrication practices, oil sampling and basic mechanical diagnostics.
  • Autonomous, conscientious and meticulous with strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Ability to prepare risk analyses and produce clear technical reports.
